28.25

論「若爾染污寧得此名」，難也。若以如上勝故獨名審慮，味定是染，如何亦同得靜慮名？

The Śāstra says: "If so, how can defiled [states] receive this designation?" This is an objection. If it is only due to such superiority as mentioned above that it is called deliberation, then tasting-concentration is defiled; how does it likewise receive the designation 'dhyāna'?
