論「又若爾者至皆無常性」，違第三經也。經說生識緣者，皆是無常。我若生識，應是無常。
The treatise says: "Moreover, if that were so... are all impermanent by nature." This contradicts the third sūtra. The sūtra states that the conditions that give rise to consciousness are all impermanent. If the self gave rise to consciousness, it would have to be impermanent.
