論「計我成倒至何須會釋」，犢子部通經也。經說計我成倒者，說於非我法上計我是倒。經不言於我上計我是倒，何須會釋？

The treatise says: "Conceiving a self constitutes an inversion... why is there any need for reconciliation?" The Vātsīputrīyas reconcile the sūtra: when the sūtra says that conceiving a self constitutes an inversion, it means that conceiving a self upon phenomena that are not-self is an inversion. The sūtra does not say that conceiving a self upon the self is an inversion; why is there any need for reconciliation?
