29.34

論「分品別已至與上親等」，述勝解與樂心、上怨等與上親等也。雖能緣而未遍，非至根本。

The Śāstra states: "Having divided them into classes... up to: equal to the superior friend." This relates the mind resolved on giving happiness, making the superior enemy and others equal to the superior friend. Although able to take them as object, it is not yet universal and has not reached the fundamental state.
