論「如是所說至而命終者」，結上頓、漸二種命終。但依染無記心而命終者，染無記心滅根數同，所以合說。
The commentary states: "What has been explained thus [...] and dies." This concludes the two kinds of dying above, sudden and gradual. It is based only on dying with a defiled or neutral mind; because the number of faculties ceasing with a defiled or neutral mind is the same, they are explained together.
