3.36

論「如是等事至有如是相」，下一頌，第三論主為曇無德建立根也。以語具等自餘諸法無根相故，不立為根。

The Śāstra states: "Such things ... have such characteristics." In the following single verse, the author of the treatise thirdly establishes the faculties for the Dharmaguptakas. Because the organ of speech and the remaining other factors lack the characteristics of a faculty, they are not established as faculties.
