論「此中眼等至亦當廣辨」，上來六頌建立二十二根，下兩頌第二釋根體相。於中有二：先指當餘根、後釋五受及三無漏。此即初也。

Regarding the passage in the treatise, “Herein, the eye and so forth … up to … will also be extensively analyzed”: The preceding six stanzas established the twenty-two faculties; the following two stanzas constitute the second [part], explaining the essential characteristics of the faculties. Within this, there are two parts: first, indicating the remaining faculties [to be explained later], and second, explaining the five sensations and the three undefiled [faculties]. This is the first.
