30.117

論「都無所作至說名了境」，論主答也。此同《解深密經》外道不共陀羅尼，若雜染、若清淨法，我說一切皆無作用，亦都無有補特伽羅，以一切法離所為故。

On the Śāstra's statement: "[Consciousness] performs nothing at all [...] it is said to 'cognise an object'": This is the author of the treatise's answer. This is identical to what the Sandhinirmocana-sūtra calls the dhāraṇī not shared with the non-Buddhists: "Whether it be defiled or pure phenomena, I declare that all are devoid of agency, and there is also no person (pudgala) whatsoever, because all phenomena are free from an agent."
