30.130

論「女心無間至外緣差別」，釋女心後別雖容起多心。然若先數起者、明了者、近起者先起，由如是心修力強故。若將起位身外緣差別即不定，如常起夫心、或時遇子或起子心，身被苦觸即起異心。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Immediately after a woman's thought [...] differences in external conditions": This explains that although various kinds of subsequent thoughts could possibly arise after a woman's thought, nevertheless, that which was previously repeatedly activated, that which is clear, or that which was recently activated arises first, because such a thought possesses strong cultivation power. But at the moment it is about to arise, if differences in external conditions of the body occur, it is not fixed—as when one constantly brings up thoughts of a husband, but sometimes encounters a child and so gives rise to thoughts of the child; or when the body is touched by pain, one immediately gives rise to a different thought.
