論「若爾何言說種生果」，外道問也。若展轉從花生者，何故乃言從種生果？

On the Śāstra's statement, "If so, why is it said that the seed produces the fruit?": the non-Buddhist asks. If it arises successively from the flower, why then say that it arises from the seed?
