從去秋至此冬，一部始終點功已畢。今窺其體，元草書□，傳寫之間彌成違失，每披其文必迷首尾。肆多勘本文、少加斷推，已及半分變改前緒。雖恐背先賢之深慮，只為勸後學之惠解，尚處處有脫落重復之，可勘正。

From last autumn until this winter, the punctuation work on this entire work from beginning to end has been completed. Looking now at its form, the original was cursive script [...]; during transmission and copying, errors and omissions became ever more numerous, so that whenever I opened the text I was inevitably confused about the beginning and end. Thus I collated the root text extensively and added a little critical judgment; already half of it has changed and corrected the previous readings. Although I fear going against the deep intentions of earlier sages, this was done solely to encourage the understanding of later students. There are still omissions and repetitions here and there; may they be collated and corrected.
