30.28

論「大種有四至不異大種」，犢子部反難論主也。大種有四、造色唯一，而言大種不異造色。雖蘊有五、我唯有一，因何不許不異五蘊。

On the Śāstra's statement: "The primary elements are four [...] not different from the primary elements": The Vātsīputrīya counters the author of the Śāstra with an objection. The primary elements are four, and derived matter is one, yet it is said that the primary elements are not different from derived matter. Although the aggregates are five and the self is only one, why do you not allow that it is not different from the five aggregates?
