30.43

論「問者若執至四皆非理」，明二種意樂皆不可記。若執我為世間，我體都無故，不可答常、無常、亦常亦無常、非常非無常故。

On the Śāstra's statement: "If the questioner clings [...] all four are illogical": Explaining that with either intention, it cannot be declared. If one clings to the self as the world, because the substance of the self is completely non-existent, one cannot answer that it is eternal, non-eternal, both eternal and non-eternal, or neither eternal nor non-eternal.
