30.5

論「不應重擔即名能荷」，彼部答也。即五取蘊名之為我，復是重擔，即應能荷是所荷也。如我所宗，說能荷是我，所荷取蘊，即無此失。

On the Śāstra's statement: "The heavy burden should not itself be called the bearer": That school replies. If the five aggregates of clinging themselves are called the self and are also the heavy burden, then the bearer would be the very burden borne. According to our tenet, which says that the bearer is the self and the burden borne is the aggregates of clinging, there is no such fault.
