30.56

論「若謂世尊至及常住過」，又難也。若謂見解脫後我而不說者，即離蘊過，蘊滅我在故。及墮常見過，計我常故。

On the Śāstra's statement: "If it is said that the World-Honoured One [...] and the fault of permanence": Another objection. If you say that He saw the self after liberation but did not speak of it, this entails the fault of being separate from the aggregates, since the self remains when the aggregates perish; and it entails the fault of falling into eternalism, because of clinging to the self as permanent.
