論「如是憶知至心差別生」，論主取經部義答也　從相續內，是自身內。念境想類是前時心，念境取像類別，心種子生差別，是種子之異名也。取像是想之化用。

On the Śāstra's: "Such remembering and recognising ... arises from a specific modification of the mind": The author of the Śāstra adopts the Sautrāntika view to answer. "From within the continuum" means within one's own body. "The category of ideation that remembered the object" is the mind of an earlier time; remembering an object and grasping marks is of different categories, and the arising of a specific modification in the mental seed is another name for seed. Grasping marks is the active function of ideation.
