論「若爾此性至唐捐其功」，難也。既若同前，何須重說唐捐其功？

[On the] Śāstra['s statement]: "If so, this nature … would be an exercise in futility": This is an objection. If it is already the same as before, why would one need to state it again, wasting one's effort in vain?
