論「掉謂掉舉令心不靜」，《正理論》云「親里尋等所生令心不寧靜性，說名掉舉。心與此合，越路而行」。
The treatise says: "Restlessness refers to agitation, causing the mind to not be tranquil." The Nyāyānusāra says: "The nature of causing the mind to be unquiet, produced by thoughts of kin and the like, is called restlessness. When the mind unites with this, it strays off the path."
