The treatise says: "O Beloved of the Gods, you now... do not comprehend the intention." This generally refutes the objection. You only know the fundamental treatise's words stating ten, but you do not know that its latter five are precisely the great ground dharmas. Although torpor, in terms of preeminence, obstructs samādhi, in clarifying its intrinsic nature, who is without restlessness? Since both are equally exclusive and pervasive to defiled minds, how could it not be a dharma of the defilement ground?
