論「此不說住為有為相」，經部答也。我第三言住異相者，不欲說住為有為相，但欲說異為有為相。

On the treatise passage: "Here staying is not asserted as a conditioned characteristic": the Sautrāntika replies. In our third statement concerning the characteristic of decay-cum-alteration, we do not intend to assert staying as a conditioned characteristic; we only intend to assert alteration as a conditioned characteristic.
