論「又心、心所至不應正理」，次破心剎那滅不待外緣。一法之上同時既有住、滅二相，應於一時亦住亦滅。相違同時，不應正理。

The Śāstra states: "Moreover, the mind and mental factors... is not logical." Next, it refutes [the claim that] the mind ceases moment by moment without waiting for external conditions. Since on a single dharma there are simultaneously both marks of duration and cessation, it would have to both endure and cease at the same time. For opposites to be simultaneous is not logical.
