論「又第六轉至色之色言」，反難第六轉也。若生異色，可得說言色之生等；第六轉聲既名屬主，非即一法。若於一法有屬主言，應有說言色之色等。

The Śāstra states: "Furthermore, the sixth grammatical case... words like 'the matter of matter'." This is the counter-objection regarding the genitive case. If arising is distinct from matter, one can speak of "the arising of matter" and so forth; since the genitive case indicates possessive relation, it cannot refer to the very same single dharma. If there were a possessive relation applied to a single dharma, one would speak of "the matter of matter" and so on.
