論「謂能說者至智者立瞿聲」，經部釋也。於一瞿聲詮其九事，由共定量故能了義。

On the Śāstra's statement: "Namely, an expresser [...] the wise established the sound 'gauḥ'": The Sautrāntika explains. A single sound 'gauḥ' expresses nine referents; by conventional designation, it is able to make the meaning understood.
