6.18

論「有作是難至皆成殺業」，敘外難也。因既常有，果應頓起。既同為殺因，應齊得殺罪。

The Śāstra says, “Some raise this objection... all would constitute the karma of killing,” recounting an external objection. Since the cause is constantly present, the fruit should arise all at once. Since all are equally the cause of killing, all should equally incur the transgression of killing.
