論「若爾至非於擇滅故」，難也。得因道生，可是道果。擇滅先有，豈是果耶？
On the Śāstra's: "If so [...] not with respect to analytical cessation": this is an objection. Acquisition arises due to the path, so it can be the result of the path; but analytical cessation exists previously, so how could it be a result?
