論「若爾何法名為離繫」，經部問也。如經部宗擇滅無體不立為因，今汝有部既立為因，有何別法名為離繫？

[When] the treatise [states]: "If so, what dharma is termed 'disjunction' (visaṃyoga)?" the Sautrāntika asks: "According to the Sautrāntika tenet, cessation through deliberation (pratisaṃkhyānirodha) has no substantial entity and is not established as a cause. Now you, the Vaibhāṣika, establish it as a cause; what distinct dharma is termed 'disjunction'?"
