論「滅雖別有至屬於彼事」，有部釋也。由煩惱繫縛不證擇滅，煩惱斷時方得此滅，由此可言此滅屬於此事。

[When] the treatise [states]: "Although cessation exists separately ... belongs to that matter," the Vaibhāṣika explains: "Due to the bond of defilements, one does not realize cessation through deliberation; when defilements are severed, one only then obtains this cessation. Consequently, one can say that this cessation belongs to this matter."
