論「云何不許至故言不生」，有部釋經。經說不生。云何得知不是即同別有實體擇滅名為不生？

[When] the treatise [states]: "Why do you not accept ... therefore it is called non-arising?" the Vaibhāṣika explains the sūtra: "The sūtra speaks of 'non-arising'; how do you know that it is not identical with a cessation through deliberation that possesses a distinct, real entity and is called non-arising?"
