論「以共有故至受異熟果」，答也。如大乘說外增上果賴耶相分各各不同，非共受也。小乘中說法體是一共業所感，若是異熟，即此造餘用，不應道理。增上果疎，許共感共用。

The Śāstra states: "Because it is commonly shared, [...] experiences the fruition of ripening." This is the reply. As stated in the Mahāyāna, the objective aspect (nimittabhāga) of the ālayavijñāna in external predominant fruitions is distinct for each [sentient being], and is not commonly experienced. In the Hīnayāna, it is said that the entity of the dharma is one, produced by collective karma; if it were ripening, this would entail that one creates it while others experience it, which is illogical. The predominant fruition is distant/loose, so it is admitted that it is collectively induced and collectively used.
