論「若爾染污至不相順故」，難也。三心不順加行善，加行不從三心生，染污加行性相違，如何染心生加行？

The Śāstra says, "If so, then defiled ... because they are not in accord": this is an objection. The three minds are not in accord with the preparatory wholesome, so the preparatory wholesome does not arise from the three minds; since defiled and preparatory [wholesome] are contradictory by nature, how could a defiled mind produce a preparatory [wholesome mind]?
