論「若作是說至念等覺分」，顯順教也。此言俱者，是前後無間，非同時也。不淨觀是勝解作意，而與無漏覺支前後俱行，是相續義。准此故知，勝解作意能入聖道。入難出易，但證其難。

The Śāstra says, "If one speaks in this way ... mindfulness and other limbs of awakening": this demonstrates accord with the teaching. The word "together" here means immediately before and after, not simultaneous. Contemplation of the foul is attention of resoluteness, yet it occurs together before and after with the uncontaminated limbs of awakening, which carries the sense of continuity. Relying on this, one knows that attention of resoluteness is capable of entering the noble path. Entering is difficult while emerging is easy; [the text] merely adduces proof for the difficult one.
