論「非諸聖者至加行道故」，遮第三計。恐彼計云：從聖道起，曾得順決擇分。若如此者，即是得果道後起前加行，不應道理。

The Śāstra says, "Noble ones do not ... because it is the preparatory path": this refutes the third position. Fearing that they might claim: "Upon emerging from the noble path, one [produces] the previously attained aids to penetration." If that were so, it would mean that after obtaining the path of the fruit, one gives rise to the prior preparatory application, which is unreasonable.
