7.66

論「滅盡無想至謂如前說」，明此二定三緣生也。《正理論》云「豈不無想亦三緣生？是心、心所等無間故，亦應說為心等無間。但非心等加行引生，故於此中廢而不說。」

The treatise says: "Cessation and non-conception... as previously explained." This clarifies that these two absorptions arise from three conditions. The Nyāyānusāra says: "Does not non-conception also arise from three conditions? Because it is the immediate succession of mind and mental factors, it should also be called the immediate succession of mind and so on. However, it is not brought about through preparatory exertion of mind and so on; therefore, here it is laid aside and not mentioned."
