論「謂契經言至業有中有」，第一經也。經分明五趣之外別說中有，故知非無。

On the passage in the śāstra from "That is, a sūtra states" to "there is intermediate existence for karma": This is the first sūtra. The sūtra distinctly speaks of intermediate existence apart from the five realms of rebirth; therefore we know it is not non-existent.
