論「何故經說至生那落迦」，引第二證無中有。經言「無間即生」，故知無中有也。若有中有，即是有間。

[On the] Śāstra's [words], "Why does the sūtra say... is born in Naraka?": this cites the second piece of evidence to prove there is no intermediate existence. Because the sūtra says "immediately (anantara) upon this, one is born", one knows there is no intermediate existence. If there were an intermediate existence, there would be an interval (antara).
