9.106

論「云何剎那至滅壞名死」，此明一剎那中說十二支。「諸纏」，謂無慚等。餘文可解。此說唯有情是剎那緣起也。此即於一念中說緣起義，皆望因果而說。

The Śāstra states: "How is it momentary... up to 'decay and destruction are called death'?" This explains the explanation of the twelve factors within a single moment. "The entanglements" refers to lack of shame (ahrīkatā) and the like. The rest of the text is easy to understand. This explains that momentary conditioned arising applies only to sentient beings. This means that within a single thought-moment the meaning of conditioned arising is taught, all spoken in reference to cause and effect.
