論「不應更立至由義已顯」，答也。不更立餘緣起支，即說十二已顯無明有因、老死有果。

The Śāstra states: "One should not establish further... up to 'because the meaning is already made apparent'": this is the answer. Without establishing further factors of conditioned arising, speaking of the twelve has already made apparent that ignorance has a cause and aging-and-death has a result.
