論「由此無明至從癡生故」，結對前難。非理作意從無明生，無明復因非理起故，展轉為果，非無因也。

The Śāstra states: "Because of this, ignorance... up to 'because it arises from delusion'": this concludes the response to the earlier objection. Improper mental application arises from ignorance, and ignorance in turn arises because of improper [mental application]; thus they are mutually results, and it is not uncaused.
