論「有說緣起是無為法」，破異計也。《婆沙》二十三云「分別說部」，《宗輪論》云「大眾部也」。以經說緣起法性常住，故謂無為。

On the Śāstra's statement: 'Some say that conditioned origination is an unconditioned phenomenon': refuting a divergent view. *Vibhāṣā* 23 states that these are the Vibhajyavādins; the *Samayabhedoparacanacakra* states that these are the Mahāsāṃghikas. Because the sūtra states that the dharma-nature of conditioned origination is eternally abiding, they consider it to be unconditioned.
