9.3

論「當往何趣至形狀如何」，下第三有五頌義門分別中有。就中，前一頌明中有所趣及明形狀，次兩頌明天眼等見及明通等，後兩頌明中有入胎。此第一也。頌前有兩問：一問當往何趣、二問形狀如何。

[On the] Śāstra's [words], "To which destiny will it proceed... what is its shape?": below, the third section has five verses that analyze intermediate existence through conceptual categories. Within this, the first verse explains the destiny to which intermediate existence proceeds and its shape; the next two verses explain its vision by the divine eye and its supernormal powers; the last two verses explain the entering of the womb by intermediate existence. This is the first. Before the verse, there are two questions: first, asking to which destiny it will proceed; second, asking what its shape is.
