9.50

「論曰至後必帶前」，此明多集福業勤修念、慧者入胎也。「正知入胎」，謂轉輪王。「知住兼入」，謂獨勝覺。「知出兼住、入」，謂無上覺也。

'The treatise says... the subsequent necessarily entails the antecedent': this clarifies entering the womb by those who have abundantly accumulated meritorious karma and diligently cultivated mindfulness and wisdom. 'Entering the womb with correct awareness' refers to a wheel-turning monarch (cakravartin). 'Knowing abiding along with entering' refers to a solitary awakened one (pratyekabuddha). 'Knowing exiting along with abiding and entering' refers to the unexcelled awakened one (anuttarasambuddha).
