9.70

論「蘊剎那滅至入胎義成」，答也。譬如燈焰雖剎那滅，就相續相似說轉至餘方。諸蘊亦然，由煩惱業力轉入胎等，義得成立，亦無有失。

On the Śāstra's 'The skandhas cease moment by moment... the meaning of entering the womb is established': this is the answer. Just as a lamp flame, though ceasing moment by moment, is said to move to another location in terms of continuity and similarity; the skandhas are also like this: moving to enter the womb and so forth by the power of defilements and karma is established in meaning, and there is also no fault.
