On the Śāstra's statement, "Some say the preceding six [...] make up a Nārāyaṇa": this recounts a different view. The Nyāyānusāra states: "Other masters say: this measure is equal to the strength of a thousand of the heavenly elephant-king Airāvaṇa. What is the measure of the strength of this elephant-king? When the Trāyastriṃśa devas are about to sport in the pleasure parks, the elephant-king, knowing this, manifests many heads with various adornments and goes to the celestial palaces. The celestial retinues number many thousands; having mounted him, they soar into space as easily as holding birch leaves, quickly arriving at the pleasure parks to enjoy themselves at will. The might and strength of the great heavenly elephant-king are like this; a thousand times this strength equals that of Nārāyaṇa" (this concludes the text of the treatise).
