第三、明藏所攝者，藏有三種：一、素怛纜藏，此翻為綖，或名為經，正詮於定。二、毘奈耶藏，此稱調伏，正詮於戒。三、阿毘達磨藏，此言對法，正詮於慧。於此三中，此論即是阿毘達磨藏攝。問：「為唯一藏攝，亦通餘二？」答：「《順正理》第一云：『諸有素怛覽及毘奈耶，所有窮理問答，皆是此中阿毘達磨藏攝。』」

Third, concerning the classification within the Piṭakas: there are three kinds of Piṭakas: 1. The Sūtra Piṭaka, translated here as "thread" (*xian*) or called *jing*; it primarily expounds concentration (samādhi). 2. The Vinaya Piṭaka, called "regulation" (*tiaofu*); it primarily expounds morality (śīla). 3. The Abhidharma Piṭaka, called here "facing the Dharma" (*duifa*); it primarily expounds wisdom (prajñā). Among these three, this treatise is subsumed under the Abhidharma Piṭaka. Question: "Is it subsumed solely under this one Piṭaka, or does it also extend to the other two?" Answer: "*Nyāyānusāra*, fascicle one, states: 'All question-and-answer investigations into ultimate principles contained in the Sūtras and Vinayas are all subsumed here under the Abhidharma Piṭaka.'"
