死生唯捨受者，死生唯許捨受相應，苦樂明利不順死生，捨受中庸故順死生。

"Death and birth are associated only with neutral feeling" means that death and rebirth are accepted as associated only with neutral feeling; suffering and pleasure are clear and sharp, which does not accord with death and birth, while neutral feeling is intermediate and thus accords with death and birth.
