Explanation: Only the six gods of the desire realm experience exquisite sensory objects of desire. Among them, the first two, relying on terrestrial dwelling, accomplish sexual union through physical intercourse, no different from humans; however, as the wind-element is discharged, their feverish torment is removed, unlike the remaining impurities of the human realm. The hosts of the Yāma gods accomplish sexual union merely by embracing. The Tuṣita gods do so simply by holding hands. The Nirmāṇarati gods merely smile toward each other. The Paranirmitavaśavartin gods accomplish sexual union by gazing at each other. Upon the laps of those gods, male or female, a young boy or young girl is suddenly born by transformation, which is then spoken of as the son or daughter born to those gods.
