從此第八，明離飲酒，論云：「何緣於彼諸遮罪中不制離餘，唯遮飲酒？」頌曰：
From here, the eighth part explains abstaining from drinking alcohol. The treatise says: "For what reason, among those prohibited misdeeds, was abstaining from the others not instituted, but only the drinking of alcohol was prohibited?" The verse says:
