釋曰：無表有三者，一者律儀、二者不律儀、三者非律儀非不律儀。頌言非二者，即是第三非律儀非不律儀也。能遮、能滅惡戒相續，故名律儀。
Explanation: "Unmanifest is threefold": first, discipline; second, indiscipline; third, neither discipline nor indiscipline. The verse saying "neither" refers to this third, neither discipline nor indiscipline. Because it can ward off and eradicate the continuum of bad morality, it is called discipline.
