Explanation: "Those arisen in accordance with principle" refers to the preliminary activity that properly gives rise to writing and so forth. "The three karmas" refers to bodily, verbal, and mental karma. "Together with their generators" refers to the four skandhas such as feeling that can generate the previous three karmas. "Respectively" means that the previous three karmas and so forth are respectively the entity of that writing, sealing, and so forth. Being "writing and sealing" means that the previous bodily karma and its generating five skandhas are their entity. "Writing" refers to writing by hand; "sealing" refers to carving seals; both are bodily karma. Bodily karma is form, and together with the four skandhas such as feeling that can generate it, it thus extends to all five skandhas. Since these five skandhas are able to accomplish writing and sealing, they are called writing and sealing. As for "the intrinsic nature of calculating, script, and reckoning": "calculating" refers to verbal calculation; "script" refers to verbal characters; therefore, calculating and script take the previous verbal karma and its generating five skandhas as their entity. "Reckoning" refers to mental volition; volition can count numbers such as one, ten, and so forth; therefore, reckoning takes the previous mental karma and its generating four skandhas as its entity.
