18.74

次無上菩提者，此明定、慧也。金剛喻定隣次成佛，名次無上，齊此定、慧波羅蜜多修習圓滿。

'Next [attaining] unsurpassed bodhi': This explains concentration and wisdom. The vajropamasamādhi immediately precedes the attainment of Buddhahood, hence it is called 'next to the unsurpassed'; at this point the pāramitās of concentration and wisdom were brought to completion.
